Administrative Order on County Regional and Branch Courthouses
The courts in the Fifteen Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County have created Administrative Order 4.603-9/08 regarding the county regional and branch courthouses. The administrative order was signed on the 29th day of September by the Chief Judge in chambers at the courthouse in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida.
The criminal court system in Palm Beach County is committed to providing judicial services at convenient locations consistent with the ef?cient and sound administration of justice and the court has concluded that the foregoing principle dictates that county civil services be provided at the branch courthouses in addition to the main county courthouse.
Courthouses in Four Separate Regions in Palm Beach County
Pursuant to the authority conferred by Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.215, four separate criminal court division regions were created. Therefore, the Criminal Division of the County Court, Palm Beach County, Florida, was divided into four separate regions as explained in the administrative order.
The Northern Region Courthouse
All cases assigned to the Northern Region will be heard in the North County Courthouse, located at 3188 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, 33410. The geographical jurisdictional area of the NORTHERN REGION shall be as follows: Bounded on the South by the northern city limits of West Palm Beach,and on the west by State Road 710 (Beeline Highway).
The Southern Region Courthouse
All cases assigned to the Southern Region will be heard in the South County Courthouse, located at 200 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida, 33444. The geographical jurisdictional area of the SOUTHERN REGION shall be as follows: the boundary shall be the northern city limits of Lantana and continuing south to Lantana Road and West to the North-South boundary of 20 mile Bend.
The Western Region Courthouse
All cases assigned to the Western Region will be heard in the West County Courthouse, located at 3884 State Road 80, Belle Glade, Florida. The geographical jurisdictional area of the WESTERN REGION shall be as follows: That portion of Palm Beach County, Florida, lying west of a north-south line at 20-Mile Bend.
The Central Region Courthouse
All cases assigned to the Central Region will be heard in the Main Courthouse, located at 205 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401. The geographical jurisdictional area of the MAIN/CENTRAL COURTHOUSE shall be as follows: All areas within Palm Beach County not included in paragraphs 1-3 above.
